Vasayan Warty Pig (Sus cebifrons)
These are small forest dwelling pigs that live on two small islands in the Philippines. They eat tubers, fruit, worms and miscellaneous vegetation.
Only males have warts, used to protect their faces during fighting. They also grow wiry manes which grow thicker during mating season.
It is extinct in 98% of its native range, and is listed as critically endangered due to habitat destruction, over hunting, and now poaching.

Members of Congress are living off food stamps for a week to protest Republican cuts. It’s a challenge for them, but GOP cuts would hurt millions of everyday Americans.
